Michelle has been involved in missions, women’s ministries, small group facilitation, and administration for over 30 years. In this second half of life, she formed Breathe & Be to combine all that experience with her current role as a spiritual director and yoga instructor, leading people to a deeper connection with God by integrating body, mind and soul.

As a graduate of the Academy of Spiritual Formation and Direction, she is passionate about meeting with groups and individuals to explore their relationship with God and spiritual disciplines.

She received her 200 RYT certification from YogaFaith and regularly teaches standard vinyasa classes, YogaFaith classes, and senior/chair yoga and is currently building her practice and experience to include those with special needs, families and SUP Yoga (stand up paddle board).

Michelle is also the founder and director of a non-profit that benefits families with special needs, Special Dreams for Special Kids, and has written two devotional books for kids.

She lives with her husband and daughter in Arlington, WA. In her spare time she enjoys long walks with her dog, time with friends and family, crafts, paddleboarding, gardening, cooking and reading.
